Stealth Based Skill Clusters

Training is received from general street life at the lowest levels and Guild apprenticeship at the higher. These clusters differ in the extent of specialization and in commitment to the Guild.

Cutpurse

Age: +2 years
The kid off the street out to make an easy coin off some comparatively wealthy passers by. The Cutpurse is adept at blending into a crowd and leaving the scene of a crime quickly. With many social skills, most of them disreputable, she interacts well with people and crowds. Often able to manipulate them into supporting his position without regard for the consequences. This is a mean selfish life, with little long range planning or even consideration for tomorrow. The Guild, when considered at all, is a nuisance to be avoided or at least to talk around.

Thief

Age: +4 years
The five finger discount. Specializing in acquiring things rather than simply getting by on someone else's carelessness. The Thief is adept at getting into places where he is generally unwelcome and leaving with items of value without being detected. The planning, specialized equipment, scouting/intelligence and eventual fencing required for each job tie the Thief strongly in to his comrades at the Guild. Due to the nature of the job, the Guild is the primary social life.

Assassin

Age: +10 years
The cold blooded, mercenary murderer. Specializing in the administration of death and torture by any means necessary for profit. The Assassin is adept at killing unarmored persons of usually significant social presence without incurring the direct wrath of the authorities. A complete lack of trust in anyone, any institution, any thing characterizes the attitude of most assassins, i.e. no social skills. The professional killer may or may not be associated with a Guild. She would not tell you anyway.
